| Requirements and Responsibilities For Accounts Payable Senior Manager |
| Manages accounts payable functions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate financial records and control reports. Routinely reviews applicable accounting reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvements or cost-savings. Reviews and evaluates the accounts payable register to ensure accuracy. Designs and implements standard policies and procedures to ensure accurate and compliant accounts payable records. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
