| Requirements and Responsibilities For Clinical Programs Development Deputy Director |
| Directs the design and implementation of clinical programs to improve member health outcomes, care quality, and cost-effectiveness. Develops evidence-based program models spanning care management, disease management, and population health initiatives. Leads multidisciplinary teams and clinical stakeholders through program design, pilot, and scaled deployment. Analyzes clinical, utilization, and outcomes data to identify program opportunities and measure impact. Ensures clinical programs align with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and evidence-based guidelines. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
