| Requirements and Responsibilities For Data Center Technician III |
| Installs, maintains, and repairs the hardware and physical infrastructure of a data center facility to ensure the performance, availability, and security of data. Follows established procedures to troubleshoot, repair, or upgrade servers, storage systems, and other data center equipment. Documents and maintains comprehensive records of environmental conditions to track and ensure optimal temperature, humidity, and power supply to prevent downtime and protect hardware from damage. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job. Typically requires 5-7 years of related experience. |
