Requirements and Responsibilities For Database Administrator II
Manages and maintains the company database of medium to high complexity. Optimizes database configuration and access. Resolves database performance and capacity issues. Performs database recovery and back-up. May involve in some development work. May require a bachelor's degree of computer discipline or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
