| Requirements and Responsibilities For Top Administrative Executive |
| Leads operations and plans all aspects of an organization's staff and service functions. Establishes the infrastructure and capacity to provide internal services to the organization. Oversees multiple functions that typically include administrative/office, financial operations, facility maintenance/space planning, security, hospitality services, equipment and supply procurement, vendor management, and others. Develops the capital and operating budgets for each function. Designs processes and policies that support efficient service delivery and meet the organization's changing needs. Sets overall performance goals and standards of service. Utilizes data analytics to measure activity and drive continuous improvement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to chief executive officer (ceo) or chief operating officer (coo). Manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Has acquired the business acumen and leadership experience to become a top function or division head. |
